A little about myself :
Hello! My name is Kris. I have been a licensed, professional cosmetologist for a little over 13 years now. Over the span of my career I have worked in various full service spas and salons, and also rented a booth for a short time before moving overseas. For the past 9 years, my family and I have had the pleasure of living in beautiful Okinawa, the "Hawaii of Japan". Shortly after arriving in Okinawa, I opened my salon, The Strand, in my home where I provided services to the military population located on the island. After 22 years of service to the United States Air Force, my husband has retired and we have decided to lay down our roots in Hawaii. I have many years of education and experience and am always sure keep up with the latest trends and techniques to provide the most exceptional service to my valued clients. LADIES DRY CUT $35
Basic Hair Services
This is a haircut done dry. It does not include a shampoo, blow dry or style. If you want a little extra, make sure to choose a quick flat iron or curls as an add on in the service menu.
LADIES SHAMPOO, CUT AND BLOW DRY $55
Basic Hair Services
This is a haircut that includes a shampoo, condition, a short scalp massage, and a blow dry. If you would like extra styling such as a flat iron or curls, please choose the add on option in the service menu.
HAIRCUT INCLUDED IN COLOR SERVICE $20
This is a haircut included in a color or highlighting service. Please choose color or highlight service separately when booking. This also includes a blow dry and style.
Basic Hair Services
CHILD'S HAIRCUT $25
This is a haircut for any child under the age of 12. All children's haircuts are done dry or with a spray bottle. A child's cut does not include a shampoo or style.

SPECIAL OCCASION/UP-DO $70
This is a style for any special occasion, military ball, wedding, prom or just a night out. This service does not include a shampoo, but please come to your appointment with clean, dry hair.

Basic Hair Services
This is the "in salon" treatment of Step 1 and Step 2 of Olaplex followed by a deep conditioning treatment. This appointment usually takes about an hour 1/2 from start to finish. It includes a shampoo and blow dry as well. If you would like extra styling, please choose one of the add ons from the service menu.

A full highlight includes foils all over : The top, sides, and bottom of the head. Book this service if you are looking to go as blonde as possible! This does not include a cut, please book that separately.

Highlights
A partial highlight includes foiling throughout the top and sides of the hair. This service is perfect if you are already blonde but need a root touch up, or want to brighten up a bit. This does not include a cut, please book that separately.
FULL BALAYAGE (STARTING AT) $250
Highlights
Balayge is a technique used for beautiful "lived in" blondes. This will be a more natural, "rooty" look, but bright and blonde throughout your ends. This is perfect for someone who loves a low maintenance color. This does not include a cut, please book that separately.
SINGLE PROCESS COLOR (STARTING AT) $150
This service includes one, all over color from roots to ends. This does not include a cut, please book that separately.

SINGLE COLOR ROOT TOUCH-UP (STARTING AT) $90
Color
This is a roots only, touch up with a single color. This does not include blonde. If you need a touch up on your blonde roots, please choose a partial or full highlight. This service does not include a cut, please choose that separately.
FASHION COLOR (STARTING AT) $230
This service is a double process and includes bleaching, (if you are not already blonde) and then applying the fashion color of your choice. If you are already blonde and do not need the bleaching service, the price will be adjusted appropriately. This service does not include a cut, please choose that separately.

COLOR CORRECTION (STARTING AT) $275
An example of a color correction: your hair is black but you would like to be blonde. Maybe you attempted highlights yourself but didn't quite turn out the way you wanted it to. These would both be considered color corrections. This service does not include a cut, please choose that separately.

PARTIAL BALAYAGE $195
Highlights
This is the same technique as a full balayage but only includes the top and sides of the head. It does not include the underneath portion. This service does not include a cut, please choose that separately.
